The Universal roof trim options will be experimentation.

If you can still find good intact used parts I would go with that first.

If not try a couple of different tapes by removing your worst section cleaning up the roof and seeing the result.

 

The trim clips are tight, you need some force to pry it off.

If you are fishing for an excuse to tidy it there are some trim strip rolls that can finish off the edges.

Hi, I would do the following. First, I would buy a flat ABS rod and rebuild the missing part. Degrease thoroughly. Present the rod and apply tape to hold it in place. Disassemble everything and repair the back with hot air or a soldering iron. It can be reinforced with metal mesh by fusing it with the ABS. It's time-consuming and labor-intensive, but it would look identical, or nearly so. Regards
