Some electrical issues on this car can be rectified by resetting the TIPM/PCM. TIPM a fancy name for the computer (PCM) controlled/monitored fuse box on these cars. Doing it correctly is a must:

  1. Remove ignition key
  2. Remove negative cable from battery
  3. Remove positive cable from battery
  4. Keeping cables clear of the battery, hold them together for 10 minutes (there will be initial sparking as power is drained from the system)
  5. After 10 minutes, reconnect the positive cable followed by the negative cable.
If when you start the car you find the issue is still there; then either there is still an active issue on the circuit that wasn't just transient, or the TIPM/PCM may need replacing.
