You're outa luck. The flasher operation is through the TIPM. The sound is produced inside the sealed portion of the dash pod.

I put an LED light in the rear lens. went down the road and when I used the turn signal it started flashing real fast. just as if I had a burnt out light.
Does this mean that I cannot change the flasher to use LED lights??

Just did chat with www.superbrightleds.com and was informed that I can put a Load Resistor RL-650 @ the bulb. The resistor comes with instructions.

It's a known issue because of the TIPM. Resistor sometimes work, but not always. You'll get a better answer from this forum than seller who has no real knowledge of these cars. DIY for a fix that does work is in our Knowledge Base sub-forum.
