TIPM issue

Thank you for your help, sorry I haven't responded sooner. I will definitely have a look under the battery/battery tray this weekend. Took it to a garage yesterday, and apparently it's to do with the CCN instrument cluster, lost communication with multiple things, so as you say, either wiring has split, or the instrument cluster itself has failed (which apparently is also a common issue?)
Anyways, will post back when I manage to get to the bottom of it. Thanks for you help!

Hello all, I realise this is an old thread, but I have been following it, and doing what it says to rectify the problem.

I have a Dodge Caliber SXT 2007, CVT transmission with EVIC system, with a similar problem, but not to do with head lamps etc (all lights, wipers work fine). I still think it is to do with the TIPM.

The problems I am having are as follows:

- First noticed the problem when I couldn’t physically lock the doors to the car with the remote key fob. When you pressed lock, it seemed to register with the car, as the lights flashed, and when you open the door (as it physically doesn’t lock) the alarm would sound.
- Second thing I noticed is the petrol gauge is now constantly shown as empty, with the empty tank light on. I know it isn’t empty, as I just filled it up.
- Third thing, the compass, mpg reading, tire pressure gauge and external temperature gauge in now not working (this is shown in the one LCD gauge, interchangeable with the cluster button.)
- Fourth thing, the air-conditioning is no longer working.
- And final, the engine light is on. Ran a self-code check (ignition procedure) and only gave me .DONE. So no code is available.

I have done the reset procedure multiple times, to no avail.

Please could you let me know your thoughts on this? Before I strip out the TIPM and throw it as far as I can?

Your help is much appreciated!
