Wheel swap

Hey, I'm new to upgrading my Caliber and I've got a basic question before I make the purchase. I bought the SE model with ghay hub caps. I've been looking since I bought the car for Caliber wheels and I have found some. They are 17" wheels, supposedly off of a Caliber. The guy was told the lug pattern is 5x3.25, however in my searches (I drive a Jeep as well and have learned the bolt patterns are the same), I found 5x4.5.

The guy selling the wheels (Daniel) bought them from a guy that removed them from his Caliber. Daniel tried to put them on his Ram 1500 (a little research goes a long way!), but failed. He was then told they would fit Jeep, Ford Rangers, yadda yadda yadda, but that the bolt pattern is 5x3.25 (but being a Jeeper, Jeeps are 5x4.5).

Ok enough of my ranting and dumb story . . . will these wheels fit? They have the Dodge ram head in the center, so I at least know they are Chrysler, but I want to make sure that they will fit before buying them.

Thanks in advance yall!

A little search for "bolt pattern" would have produced the result: STANDARD measurement is 5x4.5"
that's what I was finding as well, but just wanted to double check with other Caliber owners. thanks!
Hey hemipowered4x4 :Hey:
I don't have an answer to your question , but I see you are new here and so WELCOME !!!
Glad to have you here.
5x3.25 isnt even a bit pattern. 5x4.25 is and its 5x108 which is mostly Fords. We have 5x4.5 or 5x114.3
I'm kind of doubting this guy's intelligence now! i have seen these wheels on other calibers, so I'm not so scared to buy them.

thanks again yall! and thanks for the welcome!
where would i get new center caps that fit? we measured the center caps from the Jeep Compass, the new Ram 1500's, and another Chrysler (forgot what it was) and they were all slightly larger in size than the caps for the caliber wheels.

I decided not to buy those 17's. i've got a buddy that's selling the stock wheels and tires off his wife's Jeep Compass, but I of course don't want Jeep on my Caliber.
Check this out, I found these on Ebay... from a 2008 Caliber SRT4 OEM 19" rims with tires in great condition... starting bid $799. That's a STEAL!

Pulling this thread from the grave so i don't start my own....So any Dodge Chrysler Jeep OEM rims that have 5x4.5 bolt pattern will fit our cars?

Currently in the market for some OEM used rims and I was hoping to pull some from a salvage yard or a local tire shop doing work for dealerships for a good price.
Pretty much, it's just the caps to change.

I have a set of custom wheels and tires that I bought for a 2009 caliber. They only have about 30 miles on them and have been stored in a basement that are for sale. They were $1200 new. Negotiable
