I can't remember, but I think the 12v to 110v inverter is about 75watt RMS, with a 100watt max

Cool for tiny things like chargers or netbooks, kinda weak for any real stuff like welders and jackhammers.

So I'd like to install another inverter in the back, something in the kilowatt range. I'm thinking of a couple extra batteries (Li-Po?) with an isolator.

Any suggestions on a setup?

Laptops and cameras was the target.

These guys make solutions and it is transferable (but stealable).

Stealable... people in this neighbourhood will steal the valve stem caps off your tires.

I was thinking of a permanent mounting one where the subwoofer area was, or maybe just mount it under a front seat like a stereo amp.

Harbor Freight has some cheap ones... and the reviews prove it. I suppose I could just keep buying from Amazon.
