The lower (231133) is 70mm•24.5mm with a 17mm inside diameter.
The info I find on the upper (231161) is that it's 65mm•24.5 with a 17mm inside diameter.
Of course, AutoZone has the upper (65mm), but not the lower(70mm).
If the smaller pulley eas my only option, what would be any downsides to using the smaller, upper pulley for the lower? A 5mm diameter difference - maybe not as tight of belt... what else?
The tensioner has a lot of swing available to it. I'm sure it could properly compensate.
What is the reason for the two pulleys to be different sizes? Why wouldn't Dodge make them the same?
