Red light on - Car won't Start.

This is anti-theft protection system. So maybe someone was messing with your car.
Or can be triggered on by mistake - there is very weird issue in 2007/2008 Caliber that electrostatic charges may cause WCM module lockup. In this case simply disconnect battery for few minutes or remove IOD fuses (7 and 8 I think, corner of use box).

I just went outside to start up old Betsy & all i got was a red round light on in the middle of my gauges. The center gauge i believe ..Car ran great last night when I parked her. Im out here in cold chicago and it has snowed and been real ugly weather wise' 6' of snow 1 day then freezing rain and 30 mph wind etc .
Could that have triggered this ? What can i do to solve my problem?
I just took off the cables like suggested & Ill give it a try tomorrow morning . Yes the battery is newer & healthy..
