Research states that the British are the best drivers in Europe but the worst at changing their wiper blades. We tend to change them when they don't work anymore, whereas the Germans change them every 6 months!!
Yes Pete, the arched scratch line across the window screen is a usual British indication that the wipers need replaced..:naughty:

Fitted the flat rear today.

Very quick swap over using standard hook mount

Rain-X Latitude not stocked here, used flat AeroBlade 12".

Plenty of clearance for the 12" blade sweep, looks better with the wider arc.

As supplied with the spoiler like for front wipers. I could not find a handing for park positions. This view looked upside down so I reversed it.

The mounting point is dead center. The plastic cover slides off revealing a crimped metal bracket. I could just squeeze the blade out and turn the bracket around. I did not recrimp in case I broke it but it is almost as tight.

The finished view inside

Modernised the Front w/latitudes

Local supermarket was doing a special on flat blades half price $5 a pop so had to do it.

They do not stock 17" so bought the 18" and cut half an inch off the top - you need to cut a notch for the spoiler retaining clip with a hacksaw. It's a fiddle so worth getting the 17" if you can.

Internal

Factory standard was ------------->

Obviously the original park position is crying out to be lowered.

Pretty good deal there...However you are best to go an inch shorter than what is reccomended if they dont stock the correct size..

Rear 12", front 24" & 17"

Original rear was 11" but 12" fits easily.

Replacement of blades is a snap-on.

Reversing the spoiler direction on flat blades is straightforward once you figure it out.

I could not get a cheap 17" so modded an 18" with a half inch snip - it did not even need to be that much.

Using a 16" instead would give a 1 3/4" smaller sweep, can't recommend that?

Time to update the rear, the design is improve.

Mopar Blue and dual action spoiler so no need to reverse the profile.

replacing

Same 12" clearance for maximum visibility

Yeah of course. Unbranded. Nicely boxed with no reference so must be from China.
12" Flats are rarely stocked in stores.

Bulk buys have been slow here. Won't affect price on these much.
A set of three would be $12 a blade, plus shipping - we can still do surface about $10 (air is more).
