Hey all,

The window for the driver's seat stopped working suddenly on my 2007 Dodge Caliber last night. I'm relatively sure its not firing at all, either because the switch is broken or because its not getting any power. No mechanism even so much as clicks.

Also, the little LED light (there's one on each window switch) is now on for the corresponding switch (but not for the others). What does that mean? The owner's manual says nothing about it.

Is there a fuse box I can check? Is anyone familiar with this problem / does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks alot,

Matt

The driver's switch is the only one with an active LED. That's the way it has always been right from the factory. If the driver's window is the only one not working, but you can still operate the others from the driver's control, then I'd be inclined to say the motor is shot.

Or maybe the motor's connector plug fell out. in either event, you'll need to get inside the door to see.
