I also have this vibrating noise coming from the transmission and it is a horrible noise I think it may be a transmission mount but I just replaced all motor mounts and transmission mounts if someone could tell me what that it that would be really cool.

Please and thank you I need help.

Best case, this is a valve cover leak.
I checked the valve cover and it looks like it might be but the leak is just a little bit lower than that I will do some testing later in the week to try and fine it, one of my main and annoying concerns is the transmission noise it is so annoying and idk what it is
Alternatively, this could be a leak from the timing cover, but it would have to be a severe leak.

Valve cover is still most likely.

I don’t think there are any other likely sources.
Another thing is it could be due to a leaking oil pan slinging onto the axle causing the oil to splash everywhere.
I will definitely look at that thank you

I will see If I can't look at it sooner rather than later

I am going to put liquid dye into my engine and black light it on sunday to see where the leak is coming out from.
I dont think there is any need to do that. I would just jack it up and put it on stands and use a light and spend some time looking. It most likely from the back of the valve cover tho.

Check the oil pressure switch which is above oil filter. I found a bad leak and it was that and the idiot light came on also. It slung oil all over the place. It looked like a crime scene from a transformer movie under there.
