Had to leave early this morning to get to a meeting in the west end to sign my contract for my '09 work schedule and this is what I found.
Will never again buy a car without heated mirrors.

You say the UK Spec Has the heated mirrors I wonder if there is any way to adapt/ add them to the US Spec Caliber???

I feel your pain on this I ran into this a few weeks ago and was cursing the whole time I was trying to scrape all the [email protected] Ice off lol.
I added the Remote Start the following week lol. Yes I do miss my heated mirrors my Jetta had them and I miss them!! what a simple yet VERY effective concept!

ya dodge really screwed up- givin heated mirrors to those who don't need em...while us "snowbirds" have to suffer, or buy a different car.

They are easy enough to make. All they do is attach heat tape to the back of the mirror.

Ok now I'm seriously getting jelous heated and folding?!? ever parallel park in DT Chicago? you are lucky if someone doesn't take your mirror off :lol

You just have to add some antifreeze first.

I am quite amazed that folding heated mirrors are not an option in NA, where you really need them. After all they are a Jeep Compass standard fit !!!

Yeah we had the same ice issue here. I had the heated mirrors on the Caravan and never realized how badly I'd miss them! Also, the side window defrosters aren't much good either.

I will keep a look out and i will also check the Jeep Compass as this uses the same mirrors that are on our UK/euro Calibers, and as far as i know they also fold, i found this out when i was looking for chrome mirror covers for our UK calibers..
