A guy gave me a good deal for some wheels off of his genesis. Theoretically, would those rims fit onto my 2008 Dodge caliber SXT. I have the stock 17" if that matters.

the info he gave me for his wheels is:

bolt pattern: 5x114.3

18x8 front 225/45/18 18x8.5 rear 245/45/18

I doubt that they'll fit your Caliber. Not only does the bolt pattern look suspicious to me, but the offset for your brake caliper clearance has to be taken into consideration.

What is it that makes the bolt pattern suspicious? I did see that they had the same bolt pattern but I wanted to play it safe and ask someone here before anything

Well, after doing a search, I can see that the Caliber wheels are the same size. For some reason, I thought they were 5x115, but stand corrected. Theoretically, they should fit. I just wonder about the offset, though. One way to find out is to try one and see.

As Charlie stated, you should try one. They will likely fit, but the offset could be an issue. If the offset isn't the same; you could have tires sticking out from the fenders, or too far in and rubbing every time you turn the wheel.
