Just wondering how many miles you have got out of your Caliber??
I have 200k on mine with minimal repairs other than tires, brakes and battery.
One set of lower control arms, front struts and a generator or ac compressor pulley ( don’t remember which it was)
But 17k new in 2009 and 200k and still going good.
My kid asks how I’ve got so many miles out of it?
Drive it easy and change the oil and filters son :)

I have today done an annual inspection which notes mileage accrued at 452 with all the lockdowns. Fuel was just $157.
Tag, insurance, & inspection $593, parts & labor $1146 (Battery, throttle body, LCAs, EGR, tail struts, toe link w bolt, TPMS, CV boot). The only fun thing I have added this year are blue tyre valve caps $11.
$4.20 per mile means time to get an eBike!

Advisories list for this next year includes set of tires, front brakes and rotors, front & rear sub-frames maybe, cambelt, water-pump, & Mopar coolant.

At least there is little depreciation now on Calibers ( or any other vehicle really )
200k miles on a little value hatchback is commendable. North American distances to anywhere are at least double those on this side so our Calibers are being buried with not very much more than 120k miles. At 20 years -2026- likely maintenance needs will see off more.

How Many Left records registered vehicles so I compared the Dodge models 2009 to 2021

Avenger 1100 509 registered 158 laid up so 40% scrapped with 46% running around
Caliber 6400 2600 registered 641 laid up so 49% scrapped with 41% running around
Nitro 2500 1700 registered 244 laid up so 22% scrapped with 68% running around

Patriot 5000 3300 registered 555 laid up so 23% scrapped 66% running around

Compass old & new versions figures are combined

Bought the car in May of 2012 with 25,000 miles on it. Currently has 104,000. In the past ~10 years I've had to replace the clutch (corrosion), throttle body, lower front control arms, some rear bushings, and the power steering lines (corrosion), as well as replace one rocker panel and do some quarter panel repair due to rust. Also had the repair a relay in that stupid box behind the front headlight and repair one or two grounding points due to corrosion. Road salt in our area just kill cars like you wouldn't believe. Been undercoating it with Fluid Film for the last 5-6 years but it's just prolonging the inevitable I fear. Have definitely gotten my money out of the car though.
220_000 kilometers (~136_000 miles)

Driven in harsh winter environment and on terrible roads so repair costs went through the roof - whole suspension replaced (including front and rear crossmembers), rims, few sets of tires, countless amount of various bushings, lot of corroded body panels fixes, rusted callipers, etc.

Regular fluid changes - good engine oil, 4 x CVT flushes, 2 x antifreeze flush.

Small mods like Magnaflow catback, K&N filter, projector headlights.

I really hope I will finally get 200_000 miles club Mopar licence plate frame for it :)

I finally donated my 10 year old 2009 2l automatic to the Kidney Foundation. Had 160000k (100000miles) Repairs included rusted front crossmember replaced under warranty, new alternator and drive belt, brakes, tires, one wheel bearing, ball joints and $500 electrical work to the left front harness. The CVT was beginning to fail with limp in modes in hot weather. Rocker panels finally rusted out and oil leaks. Consistenly got 32miles per CDN gallon. I have no regrets, it served me well and was a pleasure to drive. Powerful enough for passing and great acceleration.

I'm at the same place with my 07. 200k miles, not km. Replaced the crank sensor, and the clutch once, but that was my bad! I rod the crap out of mine, never change the oil, put spark plugs in it once about 5 years ago. That's how you make them last forever.
My 2010 SXT is just about to reach 130k miles. No cvt issues yet, and engine is still running perfect. No rust. Although the suspension has been worked a couple of times, alternator, AC compressor and the main radiator hose. If I’m asked about the reliability of the Caliber. In my opinion, it’s very reliable. Never has left me stranded. And since I own the 2010 model where it got the upgraded interior, I could say it is very comfy.
My '10, despite the fact that it has not been the most maintenance-free car I've ever owned, has been the best car I've ever owned. For what it is, it does everything really well...intuitive controls, comfortable for 4 people, can haul a ton of cargo, good manual trans, simple and reliable engine technology. If Dodge still made them I would have bought a brand new one this year to replace my '10
