Ive changed the throttle body but it still jerks when i accelerate around 20 mph then it starts to go but it takes forever to get up to speed and the rpm's go to 3k and doesn't drop unless i let off the gas. i read in a form that if your break lights are not working that is also part of the problem. could it need to be taken in to get the computer flashed and reprogrammed.

With a new throttle body try the reset first, after that next step would be reprogramming your throttle pedal - look up 'The Procedure".

I did the rest by pushing the pedal down then hold for 20 and back up slowly. Is there another way. There was a recall on the pedal but mine was not the months but was the year. Also when I push the pedal all the way down it has a little resistance and with a little more pressure it clicks and goes all the way down. Thought I would mention that

There are many threads on throttle issues so until someone jumps in I would be researching those.
Do you have any alternatives to a dealer visit
