Sucks for the SRT group but this Abarth is probably going to replace the Caliber.

The 500 Abarth is Mini size maybe an SRT1 with the MiTo as an SRT2, the Caliber replacement will be larger although the SRT4 might be an Abarth version.

The US started a North American version from 1994 - (like the World Series it means they win sometimes)

First given in 1994, the North American awards were patterned on the “Car of the Year,” which for decades has been the most prestigious automotive award in Europe.

First Truck winner was RAM, Chrysler won with Minivan, Grand Cherokee, Cirrus, the 300 and Cruiser which in 2001 was considered a better car than the Prius.

Reprieved ( again ) The Chrysler PT Cruiser, one of the most successful vehicles the automaker has introduced, will remain in production. Gualberto Ranieri, chief spokesman for Chrysler Group, confirmed the decision to keep the Chrysler plant in Toluca, Mexico cranking out PT Cruisers. One analyst thinks the PT Cruiser will remain in production until new Fiat-based models come on line in 2011.

In June 2009 the PT Cruiser ranked 16th in sales of the 24 Chrysler Group vehicles. In the previous 3 years it had been a top 10 vehicle. However every fifth car sold with a Chrysler name-plate was a Cruiser.
