Hi to everyone, I'm new to the forum. We have just purchased a Caliber 2007 SXT beautiful car with a mechanical issue.

It starts OK, and apparently maintains a correct idle speed, but once lever changes to "D", a noticeably vibration shakes the car. This vibration stops when accelerating.

Any clue about this issue?.

Welcome to the forumZ. Any idea when the last tune up was done? Spark plugs in these cars MUST be changed every 30,000 miles for optimum performance. By the sounds of things, you MIGHT have a busted motor mount. The easy way to check is to start it, set the parking brake, have someone stand off to the side and have the hood open. Rev the engine and have that someone look to see if the engine tilts. If it does, then you need to check those mounts. How many miles are on it?
