The DaimlerChrysler manufacturer paint code is included on the vehicle certification label located on the driver-side door shut-face.

Wonderful except not on International Calibers, or if your car has been repaired, or it's missing, or illegible.

Even for a touch up stick it can be useful to know your paint code so please share yours here.

i meet a friend on weekend, he's a painter... and i gave him my new eyelids, and silver interior parts...
to paint in sunburst...
we didn't find the code in the car so he watched into his computer with alle the paint codes...
there've been different sunburst codes, also the V6
so i called my dealer to ask for the code, they wanted my VIN and said its PV6

so there might be local differences!

Exactly the purpose of this thread!

I think all the two character colour codes are prefixed with P for Paint.

I omitted the Ps for clarity.

I think the colours are the same but my Mopar paint stick had a different stocking part number so where available I listed regional variants.
I think the EUR stocking code relates to the required languages and hazard warnings on the packaging rather than anything to do with the paint contents.

So far you've not spotted any missing colours or codes?

S2 . . Bright Silver Metallic Clearcoat

Hopefully with the manufacturer paint codes that problem will be avoided.

That's a nice find and I have incorporated the three character paint codes since it introduces C & F.
However I do not entirely believe them. Steel Blue was only 07/08 although they list it for all years - and call it Jaspis?
They do not show Deep Water Blue or Light Sandstone Metallic. I have yet to see a matt Slate Caliber may be for interior trim but let's see what members come up with.

I have the same problem in finding the paint code for my Caliber too. Can some one advise where I can find it on my Caliber?

Quick question: What is the difference between "clear coat" and " pearl coat". I have the inferno red pearl coat - can't really tell the difference between coatings (my neighbor's camry has clear coat)

Clear coat is absolutely clear. Pearl coat has a tint that causes the light to be reflected slightly different.

Does anyone know the estimated cost to have my SE completely painted. The color I have now sucks.
I don't think anyone here has had to have their whole Caliber painted. I would call some body shops in your area. The price would very based on the area anyway.
