I want to color my shifter-cover to match the silver color used by the Chinese multimedia bezel retrofit manufactures. Anyone have any color-match suggestions?

'Chips-away' type scratch repairers have a light scanner that will read the paint composition (factoring in age and fade etc) with a digital paint mixer. Can't see why they would not do it.

Is there anything preventing you from painting BOTH the shift and multimedia bezels so you don't have to try color matching things?
