(both anti-sway bars removed)

I wonder if the Caliber’s CV joints could be redesigned with this:

17024


I’m trying to figure out a way to deal with the severe angles due to the 2⅛" lift kit.

If I knew how to weld, this car would be a Mad Max roader already!

I've heard great things about rcv performance axles. However I'd think they are much more expensive than replacing cv joints each year from autozone.

Wow, those are expensive.

I was thinking of taking a CV axle and asking someone to cut off the CV joints, and weld in the double Cardans, keeping a similar length.

I know the inner CV joint can move in and out. I've seen premade [Cardan] axles with that ability, too.

Just random thinking late at night.
