I have a 2012 Caliber. It is the base model with automatic transmission. The throttle body light comes on intermittently, flashing, and puts the car into limp mode.
I pull to the side of the road, put it in park, shut it off, then restart. The check engine light is on and the code is always P2173.
So far I have replaced the throttle body, replaced MAP sensor, put in new air filter, and replaced the PCM.
I am thinking the only other things it could be are faulty accelerator sensor or intake manifold gasket leak.
Can anybody help me out please? I need this car to get to work and this is driving me nuts.
Changed out the PCV valve and it made the problem much worse. Bought some carb cleaner to check for vacuum leaks.
