When you turn the key to "on," can you hear the pump prime? (turns on for a couple seconds to pressurise the lines)

Does the engine crank?

Does the car attempt to start, but keeps hesitating?

Is there actually fuel in the tank?

Is the battery properly connected, and charged?

*Feel free to answer any of those. 馃榿

Good,
What you say is quite common.
Before starting the vehicle, give it 3 or 4 times to pre-start so that the fuel pump is primed.
In the case of diesel, when replacing the diesel filter, it usually happens.

Greetings.

Thank you for your replies. It鈥檚 YES to all that you asked. Only that I observed fuel isn鈥檛 getting to the engine but flows from the pump under the back seat when key is turned to run.

It could be security/immobilizer related.

Have you tried starting it using the spare key? Sometimes the car can't read the fob key and won't let you start it. The second key might work.

Flows from the pump - to where? Can you see it / smell it.
Do you have fuel at the filter, is it blocked.

Thank you all so much for all the suggestions. I have it fixed. There鈥檚a small plastic I had to place on the pump before fixing into the plastic cased filter. I did and now it鈥檚 good and back on the road. I appreciate all your concerns. Thank you
