Saved Caliber

So I bought this one in February of 2020 with a preexisting trans issue of the countershaft and bearing going out and making an awful whining noise. I managed to be able to get another 15,000 miles or so out of it until the bearing finally exploded. Unfortunately getting a whole used trans would run as much as two grand due to BS during production so that was not an option for me. I spent months searching for a way to be able to fix this car and not get rid of it. Then I found it. A blue 08 Cali that was being parted out about an hour and a half away. I managed to get the whole car from the guy for $300 with a good motor and trans along with a slough of good parts. Only thing that was wrong with it was the internal slave was leaking. He just wanted it gone at that point. I just finished getting the car striped down last week and and swapped the tranny swap a couple nights ago. My Cali has never been so good! I just wanted to share this for the hell of it so thanks if you kept reading this long!
