My engine cover rattles when the car idles in D. The noise goes away if I take the engine cover off so I’m pretty sure the cover or mounts themselves are the problem. I think I might have to order 4 of the newer mounts.

I've been looking on ebay and the like for a long time, almost since I bought the car last feb, for a 2.0 engine cover. Found a couple 1.8's and a ton of 2.4's but today I finally found a brand new 2.0 cover! For only $22! Can't wait to get it.
    I'm awesome.

Does anyone have a 2.0 or 2.4 cover for sale?

If anybody did have one for sale they would be selling in our Dodge Caliber & SRT4 - Buy - Sell - Trade forum section. 99% of people are wanting to buy. Auto salvage, or ebay are your best bet.

    Angry engine cover

I was told by my dealer that the 2.0 L engine should NOT have an engine cover and the dealership will NOT order one even if you want one. Must be a fire hazzard is the only thing I can think of why they won't order one. Which sucks 'cause I want one on my 2011 Mainstreet. They are available aftermarket though.

Your dealer is STUPID and pulling your chain. I would not value anything that comes out of their mouths.

I got mine last week via ebay. Definitely looks better with cover. Now I should clean the whole engine bay though
