    Default For what it's worth.

Picked up a used 07 Caliber for use as a "beach car". Only came with one remote and the valet key. Was in sticker shock when I asked the dealer what it would cost to buy and program a new key. Went to Amazon and bought this:

Had it cut and programmed by a locksmith in Pawlelys Island, SC. Total investment less than $60.

Welcome to the forumZ. Good luck with that 07 model. As a general rule of thumb, I NEVER purchase the first year model of anything. Too many bugs need to be worked out.
Crazy can be medicated, ignorance can be educated, but you just can't fix stupid.

Welcome! I own a 2007 R/T and love it still! I drove her off the lot with 12 miles on it March 2007.
227,500 miles later and we are still rolling along.
There were some bugs (mainly suspension on the R/T) but haven't had any issues solving them. I am one of the lucky ones probably but I love my car! Best of luck to you!
