    Default Overdue upgrade post

I was active here a few years ago and I still come here for information from time to time...

Back in those days, I was rocking "Calliope," my Black 2008 5speed SXT. I wound up with a few mods. Mostly aftermarket wheels, a custom cold air intake, MPX black strut bar, and the black CSRT4 spoiler.

However, she died a tragic death in Florida. Water went up my intake and blew a hole in her block.

On the bright side, Calliope's death brought me to my beloved "Impromptblue." My lovely Caliber SRT4, in the highly sought after Deep Water Blue.

Later today, I am swapping out her bad alternator for one sent to me from a CSRT4 friend. She needs some minor bodywork (crack in the rear bumper, the normal melted spot on the diffuser from the exhaust, and a scrape due to my former roommate's stupidity), but all in all, she is amazing!

I am posting one picture of her for now, but I can add more as I get her cleaned up. This is the return trip from California when I brought her home. I wish she was still that clean, but she will be even better in time!

Stay awesome and shift well, Caliber people!

    ~CyberDashie

That's sweet! The next time I'm over in Clearwater to visit the mother-in-law, I'll keep an eye out for you. If you see an old dude in a garnet red Kia Forte giving you the finger, that'll be me. Not because I don't like you, but because I'm jealous! LOL

Please don't run the "custom" water scoop on this one.

What does that mean? o.o I am keeping her "Stock-ish." I love the Blow off valve and I have a few visual mod ideas, but mostly rear/side louvers and paint matched brake calipers. I even want to keep the stock wheels!

That means don't hydro lock the block like you did the other with your custom water sucking air intake.

Oh, I see now. The Short Ram intake came with the car, so no worries on that.
