    Default Recommend R/T struts ?

Need opinions on what struts to get. I know there are KYB's available. Not sure what the dealer replacements are. Are the struts on the R/T different from the other models? Anyone have some driving experience with struts other than OEM? I do a lot of driving on pot hole filled roads. This is my DD. I prefer a soft ride. But I want them to last. So not sure if I should upgrade to something more heavy-duty.
    thanks,
    Steve

I put KYB's on mine, the ride is stiffer than stock.
The aftermarket ones (KYB, also Monroe) only come in a one - size fits all version.
The OEM ones have different part numbers for different trim levels.
They come from whoever was the lowest bidder when Chrysler requests supplier quotes - so it's a "crap shoot".

I am replacing the front struts on a 2007 R/T AWD is there a certain one that would come complete/full assy. For Between AutoZone and Advanced they do not carry a full assy strut for the R/T AWD version but do have Several for the SXT or STD versions. So there is no difference between them???

Mopar had different part numbers but doesn't offer them in a full assembly. Usually in the cheapest low grade struts are available in the full assembly.

When I did mine I used Monroe. I wouldn't use them again. And I did the better Monroe than they offer in the pre made assembly.

Did you use the full assembly strut from monroe for an SE or did you get the strut and add the appropriate spring. Because no one wants to add the spring for an R/T 2.4L to the available complete assemblies??
