Well I had quite a few problems with the dealership I purchased my R/T Cali from. Well in the end they ended up giving me some money back and the Mopar intake for free. Luckily I listen to my radio really looud because noise from the engine increase in the cabin, but not in a bad way. It gives it a deeper sound and more rumble after 3000 RPMs. I personally think that it does move a little quicker with this installed and keep in mind that I liver in Denver,CO at about 5,500ft. As far as gas mileage goes I cant really determine because im kind of a lead foot and dont worry about the price of gas so much. On my next tank im gonna do drive like the average citizen would and then I'll post whether or not my gas mileage has gone up.

its cool that you got it for free, the problem I have with the intake is that it is not really a cold intake, and looking at the intake if I wanted the same all I would have to do is replace the air box with a cone filter and that would be the instake. save me about $250

I completely agree with you on that because I was planning on doing the same thing. If you browse cardomain.com you actually see quite a few people do just that. And I just thought id give a little feedback on it since I got it for free because it's not definately something that I would pay for.

That is what I plan on doing, I think you need about 6-8" of 3" pipe for the filter to fit. If I get a little better throttle response I'll be happy.
