i wonder how hard it would be to move the lock knob to a different location on the door...*smiles*...but that's for a different thread....
Prop: I have a 32" inseam...but that is neither here nor there...lol...i agree that most of them can be overcome by moving the seat...though i have found that i like the placement of my seat for driving (all the way to the floor and as far back as i could to keep my knee from rubbing) but i can't get away from the lock knob...if i move any closer to the steering wheel, my knee rubs...(i have bad knees, so i do anything i can do to keep from them being irrated)....if i move any further back, it's too far back to be comfortable ride...like i said...those are the only neg's for me...

Well Spike, if you haven't already done it, I experimented with my Caliber. Unscrewing the lock knob results in the knob coming loose, but you can't pull it out, and you can't re-attach it because the shaft falls to the side. And of course when I let go of the knob it fell inside the door. The power door locking still works, just no knob. So I have a choice now. Tear the door apart so I can reattach the knob, or go to Lowes and get a color matched plastic hole plug. I know what you'd do, Spike.;)

it sucks that you'll have to take the door apart...*smiles*...and you're right...if my knob had fallen in (and i couldn't hear it ratteling around) i would leave it alone...*smiles*...

I was ordering dinner at Sonic last night and realised that my elbow was resting comfortably where the lock knob used to be...to Lowes I go...:p

I'm going to Lowe's this afternoon. I'll put the plug in and take a pix so you can see how it looks.;)

Ok Spike, Here are the before and after. I couldn't get the exact color so I had mix some Testors paint to get the color close. It took a 3/8 inch plastic hole plug for a perfect fit.:)
