Does anyone have any opinions on the K&N cold air intake kit for the 2008 SRT-4? I was reading the installation instructions online to get a feel for the design, and it doesn't seem like it's worth the money. They claim it adds 11 hp, but it just doesn't seem worth it to me. I mean 11 hp is 11 hp, but I don't know...

Very good question I would also like to know. I would also like to know if the mopar CAI is made for the SRT? and if so how do they compare? Thanks..

The SRT engineers said the factory intake and a K&N drop in filter is virtually the same as an aftermarket/mopar cold air intake on the CSRT4.

True. Most CSRT'rs have found that the aftermarket boxes aren't worth the $. The stock box with K&N drop in is the preferred method (this is the route I'm going). Though there is an air inlet tube (filter to turbo pipe) from PTP (http://www.pt-performance.com/)that people are pretty impressed with (smooths the flow).

i have the k&n on my car, the full intake, and it made a slight difference. Can also hear the turbo through it. I'm happy with it.

PTP inlet tube plus K&N filter is making the most power so far.
