First let me start off by saying today was not the optimal day for drag racing. It just so happend that there was a 25mph head wind blowing down the track and was slowing all the cars (http://www.******************/forums/showthread.php?t=6805#) down. I was told I was probably losing 3-4tenths and 3-4mph in my trap speed because of having to fight the wind, and we all know that these cars arent very aerodynamic being shaped like a brick. So here are the numbers anyway.

Best Run
60ft.........2.1137 yes I did this on STREET (http://www.******************/forums/showthread.php?t=6805#) TIRES at 26PSI.
1/8et.......9.1660
1/4et.......14.0506
1/4MPH 100.07

Worst Run
60ft......2.4590
1/8et....9.6978
1/4et....14.5775
1/4mph....100.58

Most of my other runs were between 14.10 and 14.30. I feel that I did pretty well considering I had to battle these strong winds that were blowing directly down the track. Perhaps next week if there is no wind, I can get a nice solid 13 second pass. To put the wind into perspective, just yesterday I put down 298whp on the dyno, today my highest trap was 101.60mph. I should easily be trapping 106-108 with 298whp. So yes, the wind was having a MAJOR affect on my times. On a side note. My buddy with a bone stock CSRT4 ran a new best of 14.3, not bad for a stock car (http://www.******************/forums/showthread.php?t=6805#). If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking. Peace. Dustin.

cool stuff bud, i'm sure you'll get a run sometime with wind at your back so itll even out.

isn't 26 psi a little low for your street tires? i dunno stupid question maybe.

alot of people run lower psi so that more of the tire is touching the ground. 100mph... those tires are nowhere close to flat.

Not bad at all! Good Runs!

I dont see you trapping 106-108, most likely be in 104mph - 105mph land for sure! 30HP more than stock isnt gonna net you, 5mph more. Especially when stock cars trap 102 at 260HP.

I mean you ran a tenth faster than I, and trapped 2mph lower than my best trap, and again, I am stock and I did it at an Air Density Altitude of 8000ft.

I say, get some more runs in, and get your shifting faster, and I see you doing much better.

I would love to see that 13sec pass. Get some pics of your time slips and video of your runs!
