Ok, I know there is another thread out there that asks to show pictures of YOU and your caliber....Surprisingly, alot of the posts in that thread are only of cars!..
Well I dont know about anyone else, but I would like to see your pretty, or Ugly (like mine) mugs so I can put a face with the posts you write... Dont be shy!

My turn, I suppose! Plus I got that message at the top of the forum that told me to post SOMETHING, for the love of God! And since Vincent is great and is doing no wrong and I'm loving driving him, I've got no worries or complaints. So, here we go!
Nice pic ! :) Glad to hear that Vincent is behaving

Licia, sorry my fish is much smaller than yours! LOL I'm better at fly fishing with trout!
LOL
I've never tried fly fishing, it looks tiring ... I'm more a "sitting with a beer fishing" girl

Nice pics thanks for sharing Francois!

Monkey see, Monkey do :)
Here is your shy, technical minded Army radio operator for the last ~23 years; that's always hiding in books and cutting his grass during the night time when nobody sees him :D

I love old radios that people throw away and i take very good care of them :)

Enjoyed this thread very much, thanks!

All, Best regards, Francois

(VE2FFP) :)
1. I'm quite an "introvert" with all my Math books and propagation studies interest.
2. I did my exam alone in an autodidactic way. ( Last Army radio operator course (1988) that used morse code.) Exam in 1996 at the industrie Canada Tower in Quebec city.
3. Started with code exam, passed 12 wpm ( forces school --> 13 wpm, so it was easy for me ) Then, went up a couple of elevator levels to an already started up exam in a full classroom! ... was all red face ... ( i'm shy )
4. But, LOL, got out of the classroom first! after electronics, regulations, ( with a good score )
5. I studied 2 years, but started at age 11 has a short wave listener :)
The old radios are:
-1970 yeasu Ft-101ex: Only Rx works. 2 final lamps tubes problem ... i think ... love the audio - honey to my ears ;)
-1982 yeasu ft-726r (nobody wanted it, too old and needed fixing. ) transistor final. Bought used after tour in 2004: 144-440 mhz (the gentleman had put a new plastic front)
-1983 old kenwood ts-430s, transistor final Hf, (father gift) i saw i man throw one in the garbage in Haiti in 1997 :(
Rest is cheap kits (Ten Tec) and some equipement from deceased grandfather (with Ft-101ex).
I builded all my wire antennas. Best contact was VK7 on 21mhz at 23h00 local.
The Yagi is TH2. I'm going to edit the photograph just up ... i think i put to much :shy: ... lol

Best regards, 73

My wife and I in Vagas
I LOVE VEGAS! Although we're from Germany we've been a couple times there.
Though I dislike that they tear down all the old Casinos. Even the Sahara and NASCAR Cafe are now closed.
That's me and the Riviera Show Girls (what body part of them is the brightest?)

And that's the entire family with the Pacific in the back and LAX in front of us (pic was taken in February if you wonder why wearing warm clothes in L.A.)

Upload to your members gallery instead of as an attachment. You'll need pics in there for MOTM anyway. Upload a few pics of your Caliber.

upload to photobucket and link them in here useing the envolope looking tool above, thats what i did......
That's another good way to do it, but it you forget about this thread, and delete the pictures in the future in photobucket, it removes them from here too.
