Hey adio I have a question about your led tails. I only have the 2 bulb tail lights. Would I be able to use the tail lights that you got for your caliber?

    umm ... lets see: 44$ CDn for 4.4 liter that means: ~40$ US for 4½ quarts. So 40 / 4.5 = 8,89$ US a quart. To expensive. Stay with Mobil 1 Jared !!! ;)

IMO, i would stick to Mobil ;) if you have easy access. I see splendid Used Oil analysis reports on the net. There volume selling makes the price go down. I like the fuel economy research they are doing with lubricants. The next standard level SN (sierra November) will be something great for the Caliber. I personally love also the way they fight the deep cold. That oil is working at -30° centigrade like a charm. With prices that low, and very often on specials, you sure will have longevity ! The North american Castrol Edge is way to expensive to invest. I would wait for it to drop to pare - but the UOA should show same or better performance. Personally, i don't think Edge will go as low in price as Mobil ;)

Good evening Jared, In Germany, if you dont fight the rough low temperatures i suggest you go with one of the cheapest Grp III synthetics. ¢ --> Penzoil Platinum 5w20. Mobil 1 5w20 a tiny bit less cheaper but it's a very well respected lubricant (we have a special in Canada now, 30$ for 5 liter jug ;) . Rule of thumb; the venerable owners manual is #1, change @ 6 months or 6000 miles and the engine will outlast the body of the car. If you would like to stick to conventional dino oil, my suggestion would be Mobil Clean. I have a local Mobil product which is called Mobil super 1000 and it's blended in Sarnia Ontario. It's ¢ --> 21$ for a 5 liter jug. Very cheap and good quality. You might get access easily to Castrol products in Germany, and most are real group IV synthetics; i would look for the best prices. When i see specials, i stack up a little bit for the whole year. Another very good one which is very reasonable is the Valvoline synpower; a group III, prices are very good. F.

Hello Jared, The sampling of Castrol Edge will be done around 3 april after 6 months or 10 000 kms. If you want to get a look at other brands than Royal Purple for the Black stone Labs Used oil Analysis reports that Glenn contributed, just go on Google image and type UOA and the brand of oil you are interested in. A great book that i bough on amazon and available on line is "The Motor Oil Bible" ( http://motoroilbible.com/ http://motoroilbible.com/blog/ ). There is an oline tool with the motor oil bible that you can try and it will compare various brands of oil with data sheets for 5w20 and a rating ( http://members.themotoroilevaluator.com/ ) you make a little login and you try different brands with the specifics you want. For example Castrol GTX was in 11th position, Amsoil XL in second, Red line first, Royal Purple i think was third ... it will vary from person to person depending on your needs. Just ignore the ones you dont like. F.

It doesn't make much more sound than stock, the CAI is what I hear more. It's not a fart can if that is what you are asking. LOL!
