Best Regards, Francois.

Oh I'm enjoiying life very much now! Always a great pleasure reading from the community. I had a great Christmas - we went on the north part of the Montréal region to see my brother. It was a good supper meal and good conversation. I feel healthy more and more each day. Working on my stamina and renurish my body again. I lost weight mostly muscle I think - from inactivity during the my ilness. Thanks as always Dave - God bless and hope 2012 will be a great year for you!

    Good morning Dave,
I've been very sick - it was pneumonia. I've been on a second class of antibiotics called Avelox 400 ( Moxifloxacine ). I think I'm neer 100% now. Like Charlie said, I needed a second doctor and it worked. She did X-rays of my lungs and treated me accordingly. I should be perfect in a fews days. Energy is coming up slowly ;)

Take great care - I'll come back to read from time to time. God bless and keep away form bad colds !

    Hi:

I'm sorry to have left that thread hanging for so long. I got incredibly busy and just now came back to the forums. But yes there was a definitive answer. And you were right from the beginning. It appears I have grown old enough for them to have interchanged the colors of fluids and my transmission wasn't leaking at all. I thought as much since it was functioning perfectly and had thrown no codes. The red fluid was coolant. But to be sure I had it towed to a shop which diagnosed the problem as a leak from the coolant housing which had cracked. They replaced it and the car is back to normal now.

Please accept my apologies for abandoning that problem in the middle but things got hectic and as since I said I had time and no money in the beginning of that thread I was wrong, I had no time either.

Hi Dave! I just received electricity around 11h40 this morning. Lost it almost 3 days. My Honda 1000 watts generator saved my basement - (electricity on sump pump and fridge). Filled her up every 4-5 hours - sleep got a hit. Was sick also with a bad virus. Couldn't go to work... Lungs, fever and bad cough. Ye the Train! It's been in the news 2 times this year! They would like to start using it again for this route. Problem is money. But it's not dead yet. The train station is still maintained and there was an article in my local news paper last year; they would like to put it in fonction again. Let's hope this project gets going. I was glad to read the sun followd rapidly to your town after Irene. I live close to Vermont. Things are very ugly ... Hoping for the best for my southern neibhors. :)

Hello..got a question...what is that? I have a stereo shop down here in Peru, South America... I just wanted to put up some pics of the build, but if it can turn into a bussiness opportunity I'd like to know what is involved, I haven.t sold anything, I'm not even done with the build, but people are asking......

    Have a blessed day...

You've been putting a lot of effort in, no distractions ? I do wonder what everyone else is browsing when they are on. Seems every 5 mins I bump into something that informs or entertains which I either want to share or be able to return to myself.

    Hi Dave,

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Have not flushed the other sunroof drain yet...like you said, weather hasn't been great. No new water on the flushed side (yeah!), but carpet sure takes a long time to dry. This week in NY is supposed to be warmer, so I hope to get it done and really let the warmer temps dry things out. Still need to get that recording of the "transmission" noise uploaded. Hope all is well with your Caliber!

I've been on allpar for over 7 years. It's really a good site for anything Mopar other than the Calibers. Not many of us Caliber owners there. But I've also got a 94 Spirit and 99 Grand Caravan. If I have a problem I'm not sure of how to solve, those guys are my go to people.

Yeah, that's me, Dave. Are you over there too? I've gotten a lot of help for various Mopar problems over the past several years. I offer what little knowledge I have from time to time.

    Dave,

Thanks for the check-in! I wanted to post an update but I can't find the thread I posted in before! Short version, I got the new tires and the noise is still there. No worse and the car still drives the same. I am still trying to record it so I can post it. Thanks for your concern!

Good Morning; I agree Dave :) Since my Caliber was build early in 2006, I kept it well maintained. It also means i got the latest software installed in the internal computer. I'm also happy that it's showing the same as other recent Calibers. For the SE owners, the ScanGauge² gives us the information we are missing. Folks who have SXT and up, have a little bit more info. I really love this car. It's been serving me very well and espacially in winter. Best Regards, François.
