I am at a loss at what you are needing so I will try and answer what I think you want to know. if you need work done then you have to have it done before you get new tires.. but you have to make sure it's work you need done... I have a good mechanic that tells me everything truthfully that I need..but if you know these things need to be fixed and they will have alot to do with your tire wear ,then you need to fix it first.. and your tire rotation and balancing that you have been so good at keeping up with, does actually add to the life of your tires .. if you are out of your warranty the get your brake work done at a place that fixes things for the life of your vehicle..Midas does brakes.. I know a guy that delivers the mail and they use the brakes alot more than normal...he uses Midas.. they keep his brake system going with his warranty from midas..

Hey everyone, I just joined and need help to move forward in deciding what path I should take in resolving issues i have with my 07 caliber (currenly 40,000 miles) purchased in 03/06. Let me start by what was done to it since I took delivery. Entire exhaust system replaced from the exhuast manifold to the chrome tip exhaust pipe because of crackling/pinging noises,it was deemed cool down noise but the double catalitic converter was replaced to a single one like on my 2000 neon resulting in more power and very little cool down noise, fixed at the dealership at no cost to me. The dealership reprogramed my computor to get rid of pre-ignition noise. Every since I owned this car I've had some sort of vibration, rattle noise with radio off and when i ask to have the problem revolved they can't seem to find the problem and actaully took off all the back side panels off and added foam tape to no avail, they replace the back hatch bumper and my back door still rattles over bumpy roads, but they did fix the squeaky rear shocks by putting caps over upper rod ends, I think it had to do with some sort of air valve - not sure but it worked for that particular noise! Now I have to resolve my front end issues in which I've been living with for over a year, more like closer to 2 years and the car is just 3 years old. I get this thumping/whooping/vibration rhythmic sound comming from my front end at all speeds and on a really smooth road you can actually feel the the thud in the floor boards, the dealership says and my rotors are warped from braking to hard,my 2000 neon never had any problem close to this and I think I finally changed my pads around 60,000 mile and no rotor work done, they also stated that I have cupping on my Firestone 215/55/18's - I will not replaced them with any Firestone/Brirgestone products, I have records from the dealership that I had my tires rotated at perscibed intervals because when the car was under warranty I did not want any else to touch it except for dodge as not to void what little warrany the car had. I also notice a bubble on front passenger tire. What I need help with is do I put money in rotors and pads or lower control arm work or equalization valve check or sticky caliper before I shell out $800.00 in tires? or is there something else I'm missing?

P.S. My dealership sevice department seem very unknowledgable to resolving these issues
