    Hello,

Have you been able to get any more info on the CVT failure in your Kizashi?
From what i've seen JATCO CVT failure are truly rare.

    Thanks,

    Dave K.

    Pete,
I am loving the Wrangler. It is a bit of a fuel hog. but i knew it would be, and since it is not going to be driven daily, i can deal with that. My Cali is still my daily, and the smart is my wifes daily. She has had very little exposure to driving the smart in snow because she would always drive the Subaru(and now the wrangler) whenever we get snow. I think the smart would go OK with snow tires on it, since the engine sits on top of the drive wheels.
Like i had said in the past, my original intent was to buy a patriot but ended up with the Caliber. My son wants a Patriot. I think it is BS that we can't get the diesel patriot here. So stupid. Great economy and lots of torque with 4WD, what a great combination. Enjoy your new machine!!

Hi!! Hows the little yellow JEEP doing??? I really love it in that colour. Have you still got the Smart??? How does that perform in the Snowy winter weather?? The Patriot seems to corner Flatter than mt Cali did & their is less roll, I also find that the Fabric seats support better than Cali's leather & of course less slide on the seats. Yep & I'm impressed withe Diesel Engine & the Manual 6 speeder. Beautiful gear box & siuts the Pat. down to the ground..... Take Care... Pete.

yeah it is pretty fast.. but most of the other cars in his class were doing better as he was elminated early... his brother in the dragster did a lot better and was averaging around 6.8 in the 1/4 mile.

Yep $8000 is a lot for a little Fiat. But it was an inovation , in its day. My lotto win would probably go on a 63 Thunderbird (Cigar shape) or a Vergil Exner Styled Fury or Lancer or something like that.My old Dad allways said American cars looked like a cross between a Gas Stove & a Juke Box. I still love fins & chrome!!

If i won the lotto. i think i would buy one to restore or by a classic.. i like the older American cars also, the Humber resembles the older yellow taxi's...

I know Blackbelt. That car had so many memories for me of my youth. That's the car my Dad would let me drive on first dates (to impress the girl LOL!!!) I'll talk to you later.
